The old bag of the group, I'm a former bodybuilder and college cheerleader, as well as a proud and die-hard fan of Oregon State University, where I received my BS in Communications and Anthropology in 1992 and wound up doing stints for companies like Intel and Nike corporate offices. My first fire experience was playing fire safety for Portland's Izanami/Luminous Flux troupes at Burning Man, then joining forces with my good friend WenZilla to form the now defunct Nocturnal Ignition. The sound of the flames was what got me hooked. On a whim I decided to get my license in massage therapy and move to Seattle in 2004. Now I'm back to being a full fledged start-up lackey, LMP, and fitness drill sergeant, and can usually be found doing yoga at Yogalife, eating sushi, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, or falling out of planes.
